Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Inspector

At DynaFire Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting fire sprinkler inspections and services to ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform fire sprinkler inspections and services to a wide range of clients with various applications of fire protection systems.
  • Schedule inspections with clients and build strong relationships with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management to ensure timely completion of scope of work.
  • Understand and apply NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25 standards.
  • File electronic copies of completed paperwork and utilize time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to after-hours service calls.
  • Inform management of any job-related issues or concerns and provide information to Service Sales Representatives (SSRs) regarding sales leads and change order opportunities.
  • Learn to perform basic troubleshooting on fire alarms and comply with all DynaFire policies and procedures.
  • Acquire and maintain required equipment on the tool list and follow DynaFire's safety procedures.
  • Participate in training classes to grow professionally and increase knowledge of the industry.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service
  • FASA certification
  • Back-flow certification
  • NICET Level II or equivalent in water-based systems
  • Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire
  • Fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology as well as troubleshooting procedures
