Key Responsibilities:

The Installation Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing the customer installation process while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Championing a culture of safety and excellence within the Fiber Optic Installation team.
  • Conducting quality assurance assessments to meet Gateway's high standards.
  • Documenting field safety observations in line with company protocols.
  • Providing guidance and support to the Fiber Optic Installation Technician team.
  • Addressing and mitigating customer and technical issues proactively.
  • Fostering positive employee relations through effective communication.
  • Mentoring team members on safety practices, quality, and customer service.
  • Ensuring technicians are equipped with the necessary tools and resources.
  • Facilitating collaboration across departments and with external partners.
  • Enhancing team knowledge of products and service expectations.
  • Maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
  • Expertise in network design and technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fiber Optic Installation Technician, with team management experience.
  • Associate's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in a technical setting is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Physical capability to navigate various terrains and weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle various tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
