Bookbinder/Photo Album Crafter

UAF Photo Lab, a professional photographic lab in Ontario, Canada, is seeking a skilled Bookbinder/Photo Album Crafter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality photo albums and bookbinding products that meet our exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate small press machinery to produce printed products with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure the quality of printed products and finishing processes, adhering to our strict quality control standards.
• Prepare and package products for shipping, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to understand and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in bookbinding, photo album crafting, or a related field.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds (with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds).
• Good hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, and ability to use tools safely.
