Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be an integral part of our dynamic primary care team, contributing to exceptional healthcare services for our community.

The CMA or LPN will execute clinical support tasks, which include assisting healthcare providers, performing blood draws, administering injections, conducting lab tests, rooming patients, monitoring vital signs, and utilizing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for patient documentation and referrals.

Qualifications:
  • Current certification and registration as a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficient understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients in navigating to and from examination rooms, preparing them for exams, and supporting them during procedures.
  • Support healthcare providers during examinations, which may involve measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document patient information according to established protocols, including referral forms and lab requests.
  • Perform basic medical procedures, including blood draws and specimen collection, as well as conducting fundamental diagnostic tests.
  • Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and equipped to provide a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control standards.
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
  • Provide exceptional service to patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring an inclusive healthcare environment.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
