Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Device Trainer to join our team at ZOLL LifeVest. As a Medical Device Trainer, you will be responsible for training patients on the use and care of the LifeVest device.

This is a remote independent contract worker position that requires daytime availability. You will work with patients who are at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and provide them with the necessary training and support to ensure they can use the LifeVest device effectively.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year patient care experience and be able to travel to patients' homes and healthcare facilities to provide services. You will also be required to disclose any family relationships with potential referral sources.

Responsibilities:
  • Contact caregivers and family to schedule services
  • Travel to patient's homes and health care facilities to provide services
  • Train the patient and other caregivers of patient (if applicable) in the use of LifeVest
  • Program LifeVest according to the prescribing physician's orders
  • Measure the patient and determine correct garment size
  • Review with patient, and have patient sign, all necessary paperwork applicable to the service.
