Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Surveillance and Investigations: Monitor store activity, identify potential security risks, and conduct investigations to prevent and detect theft.
  • Collaborate with Store Management: Work closely with store managers and associates to implement security protocols, provide training, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Apprehend Shoplifters and External Threats: Effectively respond to and apprehend shoplifters and external threats, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Complete and distribute paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all security-related incidents are properly documented.
  • Participate in Shrink Reduction Initiatives: Contribute to store-wide shrink reduction efforts, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to minimize losses.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist with various store operations, such as receiving and processing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with store associates, management, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and software to complete tasks and maintain records.
