Occupational Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients/patients/residents achieve their maximum potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance functional abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients/patients/residents.
  • Document client/patient/resident progress and outcomes to inform treatment decisions and evaluate program effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
