Mammography Technologist Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our team at California Medical Business Services. As a Mammography Technologist Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Job Summary:The Mammography Technologist Trainee will assist in the performance of digital mammography exams, monitor patient well-being, and provide thorough and attentive patient care throughout the examination process. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to established imaging center policies and procedures, and participating in ongoing training and professional development.
Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality digital mammography exams per company policies and guidelines
- Monitor patient's well-being during exams and recognize patient discomfort or medical problems
- Guide patients through the examination process and answer their questions and concerns
- Respond to physician needs and questions regarding patients and assist radiologists with patient procedures
- Participate in projects and meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and adhere to established imaging center policies and procedures
- Process mammography exams through PACS and MRS programs
- Accurately complete all paperwork required for efficient patient tracking
- Maintain examination rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary medical and radiological supplies
- Current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (R) certification
- Full-scope X-Ray
- Ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and related procedures
- Resilience, adaptability, and compassion
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to pinpoint areas for radiography and mammography
- Basic knowledge of radiology/mammography equipment and testing
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
