Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Human Resources to join our Talent & Culture team at Choice Hotels. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive workplace that attracts and develops top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with internal client groups, serving as a primary point of contact for HR-related topics.

  • Balances business needs and associate needs, ensuring alignment with company vision and mission.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices, staying current on industry trends and developments.

  • Leads and administers the performance management process, tracking and reporting results to drive organizational success.

  • Collaborates with client groups and HR leadership on company-wide and department-specific Organizational Development and Change Management initiatives.

  • Serves as a trusted advisor and counselor to associates and leaders, providing coaching and guidance on HR-related matters.

  • Partners with client groups to facilitate successful onboarding of newly hired, promoted, and transferred associates.

  • Provides effective leadership and consultation on employee relations issues, encouraging a balanced approach to resolve concerns.

  • Drives positive changes in people management by identifying training and development needs, partnering with the Learning Organization to deliver targeted solutions.

  • Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team to source, attract, and retain top talent, participating in interview and selection processes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in human resources, with some experience in a corporate environment preferred.

  • Effective business acumen, aligning company vision and mission with HR strategies and programs.

  • Proven human relations, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated competencies, including action-oriented, drives results, situational adaptability.
