We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care during operative procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
