Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead our Andrology and Endocrine Lab team. As a key member of our OB/GYN department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lab, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise the Andrology and Endocrine Lab team, ensuring efficient and effective lab operations.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Collaborate with lab staff to maintain optimal lab environments for the safe handling, viability, testing, and growth monitoring of reproductive specimens.
- Develop and implement training programs for lab staff to ensure proficiency in lab skills and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical or Biological Science.
- NYS Department of Education Clinical Licensed Technologist (CLT) certification required within 3 years of employment.
- General knowledge of operation of web-based QC platforms, electronic medical records, and document control platforms.
- Rigorous QA and QC regarding handling of specimens and extreme care and caution in labeling and handling specimens.
