Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management, planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple engineering projects and teams, encompassing both design and construction phases.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to understand and meet client expectations and requirements.
  • Review and prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
  • Interpret engineering plans, specifications, and reports accurately.
  • Provide technical guidance on design, construction, modifications, and repairs to clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including client needs assessment, research, and proposal preparation.
  • Coordinate construction administration and ensure compliance with documentation requirements alongside field staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal infrastructure preferred.
  • Experience in developing plans and specifications, along with construction contract administration.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with MnDOT requirements.
  • A valid driver's license is required as travel to various job sites may be necessary.
