Job Title: Registered Nurse RN ED Behavioral Health FT Nights

At Trinity Health Of New England, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Behavioral Health Team in our ED department.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Behavioral Health Unit. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for conducting intake screenings, evaluating symptoms, and triaging patients based on their condition. You will also assess patients' mental health needs, including observing their behavior and evaluating their progress.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake screenings and evaluate symptoms to determine the best course of treatment
  • Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred.
  • Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
  • Certification: BLS required.
