Job Title: Application Engineer - Gas Engine Controls Specialist

At Archetype Permanent Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer - Gas Engine Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of control systems for power generation driven by reciprocating gas engines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of control systems for power generation driven by reciprocating gas engines.
  • Lead the retrofit and conversion of control systems to a broad range of programmable controls, with a focus on multipoint injection controls and associated gas valve equipment.
  • Design, test, and commission integrated systems for engine safety controls on board and land-based applications.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of manuals, descriptions, and electrical/electronic drawings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in power generation, industrial automation, or a related industry.
  • Valid US driving license and valid passport.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office business software.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $135,000 annually, based on skills and experience.
  • Annual bonus (STI) of up to 10% of the annual salary.
