The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to be an early engineer in our high-growth journey. As a Senior Delivery Solution Architect, you will work closely with our team of dynamic engineers to solve complex problems and drive innovation in data engineering.

We are seeking experienced professionals who can excel in a fast-paced startup environment. If you have a passion for problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a creative attitude towards technical challenges, we want to hear from you.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Prophecy IDE.
  • Assist with issues around third-party integrations with the Prophecy environment.
  • Reproduce customer bugs in production and sandbox environments to capture additional context, build documentation, and understand root causes.
  • Set clear expectations with customers on next steps and meet or exceed them.
  • Deliver proactive suggestions for improving performance and efficiency in customer-specific environments.
  • Develop advanced knowledge of Prophecy IDE architecture and administration.
  • Provide best practices guidance and support for solutions developed by customers using Prophecy IDE.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with 6+ years of experience in troubleshooting and supporting B2B large enterprise applications. A strong background in Spark, ETL development, bug fixing, monitoring, and debugging is essential.

A Bachelor's Degree in CS or equivalent is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them to stakeholders verbally and in writing is crucial.

  • Advanced skills in Spark.
  • Strong work experience in production issue resolution.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD technologies.
  • Technology experience in SQL, Databricks/Hadoop/Spark.
  • Expertise in managing and maintaining all aspects of ETL.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with full-stack data platform knowledge, good knowledge of cloud, on-prem, and service architecture, and familiarity with OAuth/OIDC and IAM technologies will be considered preferred.

Experience creating queries, alerts, and monitors in Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools, as well as developing pipelines in Prophecy IDE, will also be an advantage.

As a Senior Delivery Solution Architect at Prophecy, you can expect a competitive salary of $180,000 per year, based on the national average for this position in the United States.
