Highway Pipeline Technician

Salary: Negotiable and based on skills and experience.

This role is responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. You will ensure that ground is prepped and trenches are dug out for pipes, align pipes, and seal joints together with cement or glue.

Your tasks will include configuring pipe routes, digging trenches, sliding pipes into place, and inspecting areas where pipes are fitted together. You will also be responsible for laying pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains, grading trenches or culverts, sealing joints, and covering pipes with dirt or other material.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working as a pipeline layer or similar role
