Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Distributor and Service Truck Driver to join our team at APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport materials and equipment to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck to transport materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Monitor vehicle gauges and report any issues to management.
  • Assist with minor maintenance and repairs of equipment, referring major issues to the Foreman.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL license with HazMat/Tanker endorsement.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in a trucking or distribution role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
