Position Summary

As a Teller, you will serve as a vital representative of the bank, delivering in-person customer service and managing various financial transactions. Tellers are often the first point of contact for customers, playing an essential role in ensuring a seamless and positive banking experience. Work Schedule

This is a full-time role, typically requiring 40 hours of work each week.

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with varying shifts from 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Saturday shifts from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. will be on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Maintain precise records of all transactions.
  • Daily balancing of cash drawer and resolving discrepancies.
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries regarding bank products and services.
  • Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the bank.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of customer service experience; prior cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-stakes financial environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel locally to support other banking locations.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
