Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Respiratory Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

About the Role

This part-time position requires working nights from 7pm-7am. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent patient assessment abilities, and be proficient in performing general respiratory care procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Perform patient assessments and administer general respiratory care procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct blood gas analysis and maintain equipment as necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS.
  • One year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000-$85,000 based on industry standards and location. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
