Job Overview

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Endoscopy for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Work Schedule

The schedule includes two eight-hour shifts and two ten-hour shifts, commencing at 0630.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of one year of experience is required; first-time travelers are welcome.

Patient Demographics

This role involves working with adult to geriatric patients.

Certifications Needed

Mandatory certifications include BLS and ACLS.

Skills and Work Environment

Experience with ERCP is essential, along with familiarity in procedures such as Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD).

Patient Care Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, managing three rooms and eleven beds with an average daily census of twenty.

Unit Systems

Familiarity with Pyxis and Epic systems is preferred.

Uniform Requirements

Scrub color is Royal Blue.

Time Off and Scheduling

Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of seven days. Expect to work two to three weekends per contract.

On-Call and Holiday Expectations

On-call requirements include one to two shifts per week and at least one weekend each month. Travelers are expected to work major holidays as specified.

Compliance and Orientation

Full compliance is necessary to ensure timely start dates; non-compliance may result in a two-week delay due to orientation schedules.
