Job Title: Compound Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Compound Lead to join our team at IPEX Group of Companies. As a Compound Lead, you will be responsible for leading initiatives such as product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to ensure the efficiency of raw material production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Supervisor in overseeing department production and personnel.
  • Ensure all production lines are running according to manufacturing specifications at required rates and at the best possible quality.
  • Direct operators as needed with mentorship from the Supervisor and/or Management staff to increase equipment utilization, minimize scrap, improve regrind usage, maintain outstanding quality, and maintain adequate housekeeping standards.
  • Fulfill the requirements as specified in Blending Training document, Pelletizer Training document, and Grinding Training document.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Completion of high school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and do advanced mathematics.
  • Forklift experience is helpful.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs.
  • Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.
  • Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat or cold, dust, noise levels, and the use of forklift and sharp tools.
