Job Description

As a Loan Specialist, you will be responsible for processing consumer loan payments and payoffs for active and charged-off loans and lines. Your duties will include:

  • Responding to service requests and resolving customer inquiries
  • Calculating interest, loan payments, and balances
  • Preparing histories for consumer loans

In addition, you will perform boarding and maintenance functions for commercial loans, including preparing, boarding, and maintaining all commercial and special handling loans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year of general business experience, preferably with banking
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in PC applications and the ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal errors
  • Strong 10-key and typing skills
  • Attention to detail
