About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRO Buyer I to join our team at Ontic, a leading global aerospace OEM. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in sourcing and procuring high-quality commodities and services to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure commodities such as major machined parts, castings, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies
  • Oversee and implement obsolescence management strategies to ensure timely delivery of critical components
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate procurement
  • Collaborate with various supply chain departments to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement and planning, with a focus on tactical and strategic supplier development and networking
  • ERP/MRP systems proficiency, including hands-on understanding of supply and demand
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred
