Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Tech Soft Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain RHEL Linux-based environments
  • Perform Systems Administrator and Oracle Database Administration functions as required
  • Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues, including user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity
  • Implement and optimize containerized applications using OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure system performance and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment
  • Document system configurations, processes, and best practices

Must have Qualifications:

  • Active or current Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of technical experience in system design, development, and production support of large applications/systems
  • Strong proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift
  • Linux server system administration experience
  • Experience with RedHat Ansible and OpenShift
  • Ability to obtain CASP or CISSP certification within six months

Desired Qualifications:

  • Technical experience with CGI Momentum Federal Financials ERP software
  • Current CASP or CISSP certification
