Job Description

A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia services to patients in the operating room
  • Work collaboratively with the anesthesia team to ensure smooth and efficient care
  • Participate in call coverage, including OR and OB call
  • Meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Current CRNA licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Board certification in anesthesia
  • Prescriptive authority
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Environment

The hospital is a busy and dynamic environment with a strong focus on patient care. The CRNA will work in a state-of-the-art operating room with a team of experienced anesthesiologists and nurses.

Shifts:

  • 5 eight-hour shifts per week
  • 4 ten-hour shifts per week

Call Schedule:

  • OR call: 7am-3pm, followed by beeper call
  • OB call: 7am-3pm, followed by beeper call

Case Load:

  • General anesthesia
  • OB anesthesia
  • Endo anesthesia
  • Ortho anesthesia

EMR System:

  • Cerner EMR system
