About the Role:
As a board-certified cardiologist specializing in cardiac oncology, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising 13 cardiologists, 11 advanced practice providers, and a skilled group of nurses and technologists. Together, we focus on the unique cardiac needs of patients battling cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultations for a large hospital network and outpatient clinics.
- Support a growing regional network of oncology and cardiology practices.
- Utilize state-of-the-art facilities for echocardiography, EKG, stress testing, and rhythm monitoring.
- Manage implantable cardiac devices for our patient population.
Teaching and Research:
Contribute to our educational mission by supervising cardiology fellows, medical residents, and students. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and receive dedicated time for clinical research and academic pursuits.
Qualifications:
- Level II competency in Echocardiography (TTE, TEE, stress echo).
- Licensure in New York or eligibility for a medical license in the state.
- A demonstrated commitment to academic excellence and a history of scholarly achievements.
