Automation Control Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
The Automation Control Systems Engineer will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Designing, specifying, and selecting control systems, encompassing basic process control systems, safety systems, and communication protocols.
- Planning, budgeting, organizing, and managing significant segments of automation projects.
- Assisting in the development of control philosophies and functional descriptions.
- Updating project managers on progress for inclusion in client reports.
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of the control system aspects of projects.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Automation Control Systems Engineer position, candidates should possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Hands-on configuration experience with Honeywell Experion and TDC-3000 systems.
- Experience with Honeywell Safety Manager or other Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), DCS, PLC, or HMI systems is advantageous.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in control system engineering.
- Proven experience in technical execution on both Front-End Loading (FEL)/Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the chemical and petrochemical sectors.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software products.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits. Standard working hours are Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime compensated at an hourly rate. The role may require up to 25% travel.
