Respiratory Therapist

We're looking for a highly motivated Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in our neonatal and pediatric patient populations. As a key member of our team, you'll perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures, work closely with physicians, and ensure the highest level of patient care.

• Administer oxygen, aerosolized medication, and other respiratory therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform nasotracheal and artificial airway suctioning, CPR, and other life-saving procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic cardiopulmonary procedures, pulmonary function studies, and other tests to assess patient respiratory health.
• Ensure the correct setup, safety, and function of all equipment and supplies necessary for patient care.
• Adhere to all infectious disease standards and protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare teams on respiratory care and disease management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or equivalent).
• North Carolina State Licensure or Provisional License, and Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any other applicable certifications.
• At least six months to one year of clinical experience following graduation from a respiratory care program.
