CareStaff Partners is seeking a skilled Surgical Tech for a critical contract position. Key responsibilities include assisting surgeons and medical professionals in hospital operating rooms, preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and ensuring proper disinfection and assembly of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an OR Tech and hold a California Surg Tech - CST Certification (NBSTSA/CAAHEP).

Job Duties and Role Responsibilities：
  • Assist surgeons and medical professionals in hospital operating rooms and similar environments.
  • Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for pending surgical procedures.
  • Ensure that all of the equipment needed for the procedure is properly disinfected and assembled.
  • Clean, shave, and disinfect the areas of a patient's body that will be operated on.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and observe their status.
  • Pass sterile surgical equipment to surgeons during procedures.
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room and assist with dressing wounds.
