Position Overview

Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to enhance the well-being of our patients. Our offerings include a range of modalities such as in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation, tailored home exercise programs, weight management strategies, and client education. We utilize various therapeutic techniques including laser therapy, electric stimulation, therapeutic massage, ultrasound, and underwater treadmill therapy, supported by a wide array of exercise equipment.

Daily Responsibilities

Your role may involve:

  • Placement of intravenous catheters and performing venipuncture
  • Administering medications via IV, subcutaneous, or oral routes
  • Assisting in radiographic procedures
  • Conducting diagnostic tests on blood, urine, and fecal samples
  • Providing care for hospitalized patients
  • Managing patient invoicing
  • Communicating with clients and providing educational support
  • Handling patient admissions and discharges
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid veterinary technician license
  • Completion of an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program (two-year or four-year)
  • State-specific license certification
  • Experience through externships
