About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetric Anesthesiologist to join our team at the University of Minnesota Physicians. As a member of our Department of Anesthesiology, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of obstetric anesthesia.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including labor and delivery, operative Cesarean Section, and postoperative pain management.
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the Department of Anesthesiology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research projects in obstetric anesthesia.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Anesthesiology residency and/or fellowship training program.
  • Board eligible/certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
