Job Description

Ameriprise Financial - Washington is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join their team. As a key member of the financial planning process, the successful candidate will work closely with financial advisors to provide exceptional client service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetings.
    • Develop portfolio/robust product solution recommendations that will fit the client's risk tolerance and time frame as well as develop appropriate product deliverables.
  • Client Care and Business Management
    • Maintain client contact during the financial planning process.
    • Review and update client information as needed for client review meetings.
    • Manage and resolve client service problems.
Requirements
  • College degree or higher.
  • 2+ years of similar experience.
  • Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance licenses are required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $65,000-$70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance offered.
  • The ability to contribute to a 401k after six months of employment.
  • PTO and paid holidays.
