Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inspector with a Virginia Inspector License to join our team at Capitol Auto Service. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive services and possess mechanical knowledge to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect vehicles for damage, wear, and tear to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Perform quality checks on automotive parts to guarantee their functionality and safety.
  • Utilize power and hand tools for inspection purposes, including heavy lifting as needed during inspections.
  • Document inspection results accurately and efficiently to maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Identify and report any mechanical issues or defects to ensure prompt repair and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Virginia Inspector License
  • Prior experience in automotive service, vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, or automotive repair is preferred.
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools, including heavy lifting equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed during inspections.
  • Mechanical knowledge to identify defects or issues during inspections.
  • Familiarity with auto restoration is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high-quality results.
Work Environment:
  • Full-time position with a 10-hour shift.

  • English and Spanish (Required)
License and Certification:
  • Virginia Inspector License
  • Driver's License (Required)
