Job Description

Truss Designer - Expert in Roof and Floor Truss Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Truss Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing roof and floor trusses, as well as a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. As a Truss Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and complete Truss Placement Plans and Truss Design Drawings for custom commercial and residential building projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design roof trusses, floor trusses, and pre-engineered wood products using CAD software and other design tools.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to discuss design issues and changes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in truss design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in truss design and drafting.
  • Highly proficient in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
