In this role, you will collaborate closely with our skilled professionals to evaluate, treat, and oversee patients experiencing respiratory issues. Your duties will encompass delivering respiratory services to stable patients, liaising with medical staff, and upholding high standards of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment and management of respiratory conditions in patients of various age groups.
  • Provide respiratory therapy under the guidance of licensed practitioners.
  • Maintain clear communication with healthcare providers regarding patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to professional standards and protocols in all clinical activities.

Essential Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of respiratory care procedures for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow English instructions.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
  • Possession of a valid CPR Certification.
  • Commitment to obtaining the Registry Board Exam and Texas License within the stipulated timeframe post-graduation.

Education Requirements:

  • Active enrollment in a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
