Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment and management of respiratory conditions in patients of various age groups.
- Provide respiratory therapy under the guidance of licensed practitioners.
- Maintain clear communication with healthcare providers regarding patient care.
- Ensure adherence to professional standards and protocols in all clinical activities.
Essential Skills:
- Thorough understanding of respiratory care procedures for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork.
- Ability to comprehend and follow English instructions.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Possession of a valid CPR Certification.
- Commitment to obtaining the Registry Board Exam and Texas License within the stipulated timeframe post-graduation.
Education Requirements:
- Active enrollment in a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
