Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse. As an LPN at CenterPointe Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide compassionate, individualized care.
Responsibilities- Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
- Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
- Collaborate with others to ensure that patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
- Provide for the basic comfort of patients and implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care.
- Discuss the care provided with patients and listen to their concerns.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- One or more years' of nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
- Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
