Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is a leading provider of educational and therapeutic staffing solutions. We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Muskegon, MI.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will provide expert therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders, ensuring each student receives the highest quality care to support their communication development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct and indirect therapy for students with speech and language disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans through IEPs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and professionals to enhance student progress
  • Conducting assessments, tracking progress, and adjusting therapy as needed
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist License in the state of Michigan
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations is preferred
  • ASHA Certification is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
