Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technologists in the examination room as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Transport patients to dressing rooms and scanning rooms, providing clear instructions and support to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Review and complete paperwork with patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Set up scanning rooms, load power injectors, and check labs or alert the nurse when I-Stat is needed.
  • Perform appointment reminders and follow up with patients for additional exams, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Collect and sort films, performing quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist medical receptionists as needed, providing administrative support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Alert technologists and nurses to any medical devices the patient may have, as well as any allergies related to contrast.
  • Assume responsibility for checking scanning rooms for supplies, stocking rooms, and maintaining patient dressing rooms in a clean and orderly state.
  • Responsible for maintaining the supply room and bringing supplies from the storage room, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management.
  • Predictable attendance and promptness in returning from breaks and meal periods are expected and required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to adjust to changing situations and assignments, exhibiting adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to evaluate work circumstances and make appropriate decisions, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Willingness to assume responsibility and exhibit initiative, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift patients with additional help, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Ability to work with and support other departments in the company, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude and conduct, remaining tactful and courteous in all interactions.
  • Ability to remain open to changing job responsibilities and cover in other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Compensation

Pay range: $25.00/hour. Wages are determined based on a number of factors, including individual qualifications and experience.
