Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to fill a travel position in a top healthcare facility. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide direct, safe, and competent patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
  • Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Current License in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
