In this position, you will engage in electro-mechanical assembly tasks across our diverse product offerings. We are seeking a mechanically adept individual eager to enhance their skills within a well-established and collaborative team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble components based on an understanding of the unit being constructed or by adhering to provided blueprints.
- Secure components using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fastening methods.
- Conduct wiring tasks, including stripping, crimping, and soldering.
- Examine completed work for adherence to specifications.
- Test specific products to ensure compliance with performance standards.
- Review parts lists and select, label, and prepare components for assembly or shipment.
- Package kits for customer orders.
- Occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Be prepared for potential overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
- Ability to apply practical understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
- Capability to adapt and prioritize tasks in response to evolving business needs.
- Exhibit flexibility in exploring new tools and technologies to address work-related challenges.
- Demonstrate commitment by consistently working towards professional development goals.
- Ask relevant questions to gain clarity on new tasks and deliver high-quality results.
- Show a strong curiosity in understanding the assembly and operation of components.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Experience interpreting blueprints.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
