**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Associate Engineer based in Little Rock, AR to contribute technical knowledge in the evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering techniques for designing/drafting and/or modifying natural gas transmission pipelines and distribution systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematical proficiency, excellent computer skills and experience with Autodesk/Civil-3D and other software platforms.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist engineering staff in preliminary and technical engineering design work, project management, project permitting and implementation of natural gas systems and projects.
  • Utilize software platforms to create and edit construction drawings, civil engineering site plans, detail drawings and mapping.
  • Review industry and company design standards, regulations and material specifications and apply knowledge to system designs.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Benefits:**

Summit offers competitive pay ($65,000 - $85,000 per year) and medical/dental/vision benefits that provide flexibility and support to our employees.
