About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Speech Therapist to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized speech therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, focusing on areas such as fluency, articulation, and reading
  • Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques and safety practices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and OTs, to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and active SLP license in Colorado
  • Minimum of one (1) year of speech therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
  • Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, empathy, and compassion
