  • Design and implement data pipelines and services that meet the requirements of Apple's app Store Ads roadmap goals.
  • Collaborate with product, privacy, and multi-functional engineering teams to ensure that our solutions are scalable, reliable, and privacy-enhancing.
  • Develop and maintain complex, resilient, and scalable technical solutions using Scala, Java, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Iceberg, Kubernetes, and Cassandra.
  • Partner with program teams to plan and execute sprint goals, and mentor engineers to share industry knowledge and contribute to building the team's expertise.
  • Communicate data-driven designs clearly to diverse audiences, including leadership updates, and demonstrate a passion for understanding business context, customer focus, and product quality.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of programming experience in Scala or Java.
  • Hands-on experience building distributed data processing applications using Spark or Flink, Kafka, Iceberg, Kubernetes, and Cassandra.
  • Deep understanding of SQL, data analysis, and visualization to drive insights for product and engineering decisions.
  • Proven record in design, implementation, and launching of complex, resilient, reliable, and scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving multi-functional and/or cross-business projects.
  • Proven ability to communicate data-driven designs clearly to diverse audiences, including leadership updates.
  • Demonstrated passion for understanding business context, customer focus, and product quality.
