Student Supervision Assistant

Job Summary

This recruitment will be used to fill regular and substitute assignments for Student Supervision Assistant positions at various schools throughout the district. The positions can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes per day.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision of students in all areas of the school campus, including the cafeteria, multipurpose room, playgrounds, parking lots, bus unloading/loading zones, and areas adjacent to the school.
  • Provide for the safety and well-being of students.
  • Supervise students' behavior and ensure their safety.
Requirements
  • Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above.
  • Graduation from high school or its equivalency and six months of experience in supervising or working with school-age students in an organized setting is desirable.
