Job Summary

As a Medical Specialist with Tucson Phys Group, you will play a vital role in providing specialized nursing services to patients. With guidance from the attending physician, you will complete related work as required and utilize your medical judgment to determine the appropriate procedure within the scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Mission and Policies: Adhere to and support the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tucson Phys Group.
  • Protect Patient Confidentiality: Adhere to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Demonstrate support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program by being knowledgeable of compliance responsibilities and reporting issues in a timely manner.
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment: Obtain and record client's health history; perform comprehensive physical assessment; diagnose, treat, and plan health care for clients.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ensure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities and report any injuries or adverse reactions during or after treatment.
