We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ER CNA/Technician to join our team at BryanLGH Medical Center. As a key member of our ER team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly notify nursing staff of any changes.
- Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice related to direct patient care.
- Communicate effectively with RNs and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Verify telemetry monitor alarm settings and adjust as directed by RNs.
- Provide general nursing care, including positioning patients, assisting with bedpans and commodes, and ambulating patients as delegated.
- Report patient complaints of pain to supervising RNs.
- Assist with patient intake, discharge, and transfer processes.
- Answer telephones, call lights, and EMS radios, and take messages as needed.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Current BLS certificate.
- CNA preferred.
- EMT preferred.
