Position Overview:
As a Cashier, you will consistently deliver friendly and cooperative service to our customers at our retail locations, which operate around the clock. Key Responsibilities:

  • Restock and price merchandise as needed.
  • Assist in self-checkout areas and customer service counters as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all regulations regarding the sale of restricted items.

Self-Checkout Attendant Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the self-checkout area to facilitate transactions and ensure safety.
  • Engage with customers during their self-checkout process to provide assistance.
  • Address and resolve transaction alerts and errors promptly.
  • Maintain awareness of multiple transactions and verify payments efficiently.
  • Proactively assist customers at self-checkout kiosks to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Prioritize safety by addressing concerns in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact courteously with customers and colleagues.
  • Effective communication skills for customer relations.
  • Ability to complete written forms and conduct visual inspections.
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver objects up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Proficient in operating checkout equipment.
  • Capacity to stand or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to learn and memorize product information and company policies.
  • Basic math skills for transaction accuracy.

Additional Requirements:
As per applicable laws, food safety certifications and training for the sale of restricted items may be required.
