Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in Acute Care, including assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in educational efforts and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
Requirements:
  • M.S. in Speech Pathology
  • VA License required
  • BLS through American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in English verbal and written skills
