Dietary Supervisor

Burns Nursing & Rehab is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in the Russellville, AL area. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will be responsible for preparing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus and recipes.
• Ensure that food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Work with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services to implement menu changes and special diets.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as completing forms and reports.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a dietary or food service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

The Cook will work in a well-lit, ventilated kitchen environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to move intermittently throughout the workday is required.
