Job Title: Program Support Specialist

About the Role:

The Program Support Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for the Center for Professional Excellence, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to students, faculty, and staff. This role will also be responsible for coordinating travel and virtual workshops, managing correspondence, and assisting with meeting space coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Center for Professional Excellence, including responding to inquiries, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
  • Coordinate travel and virtual workshops, including booking travel arrangements and preparing materials.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting, including tracking progress and preparing reports.
  • Develop and maintain the Title III webpage and required updates.
  • Assist with grant applications and submission, including collecting data and formatting reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Title III office and other departments, including Purchasing and Fiscal Affairs.
  • Assist with training and development of Title III personnel, including developing internal processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with four (4) additional years of experience.
  • Five (5) years of office-related experience, including administrative assistant, event organizer, or community engagement professional.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including charts and pivot tables.

Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced, high-volume office environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and use good judgment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
